Tongue and Groove Celebrates Its 19th Anniversary This November with an Epic Bash

Atlanta’s most iconic nightclub, Tongue and Groove, is excited to celebrate almost two decades of serving up the most electrifying nights in Atlanta during a celebration of epic proportions on Thursday, November 14, 2013. The Tongue and Groove team will kick off their 19th anniversary celebration with a VIP reception from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring complimentary Perrier Joet Nuit Blanche champagne, a chef station from by Kyma’s Executive Chef Pano Karatassos, a live acoustic performance by Kontraband and passed appetizers courtesy of Zest. Following the VIP portion evening, guests are invited to dance the night away to the eclectic sounds DJ Danny M. Partygoers will also be wowed by performances and visual stimulation, provided by Illuminaution throughout the night, including an LED robot, go-go dancers and more.

“Knowing that my son Morgan, who was born a month before the original T&G opened, is now a college freshman really puts things into perspective,” says Michael Krohngold, Tongue and Groove’s co-founder.  “It's hard to believe that soon he'll no longer be a teenager and is now the one I look to for trends in music and pop culture as the club too will celebrate its 20th year. Time flies when you're having fun.”

Always on the cutting-edge of nightlife experiences, Tongue and Groove is also excited to introduce a host of improvements to enhance guests’ experiences moving into its 19th year. Several new additions to the venue include a renovated sound booth, a new Electro-Voice PA system of loudspeakers, and new light fixtures with unique aerial beams with moving head.

“We’re very excited for the future of the club,” says Jayne Coffee, Tongue and Groove’s Director of Operations. “We try to create as much excitement as possible for the crowds, and with the best sound quality possible and the most lighting effects possible.”

The 19th anniversary celebration is for ages 21 and up.  To RSVP for the VIP celebration from 8 to 10 p.m., email info@tandgonline.com.  Cost of admission after 10 p.m. starts at $10. For more information, visit www.tandgonline.com
