No Date? Try This Date Cake!

With Valentine's quickly approaching so waxes everyone's anxiety around this Hallmark holiday. I maintain that Valentine's Day can be magical for all! Couples, go celebrate your love! Singles, grab a friend and copious amounts of chocolate & vino!  Kiddies, make Valentine's and buy carnations! Or, do all of the above! 

I have a ring on my finger, yes, but that's no excuse not to share the love with friends & family. It's time to bring back hand-crafted Valentine’s, a tradition that, unlike carnations, should not have ended with grade school. As elementary as it may sound, I highly recommend gathering your girlfriends for coffee, cake and a good old fashioned arts and crafts project. Substitute wine to ensure the racy gossip flows freely. There’s nothing like getting out the glue stick and glitter to make you feel like a girl again and who doesn’t feel special getting a homemade Valentine.
