A Buckhead attorney is announcing his bid to run for Atlanta City Council's Post 2 At-Large seat, currently held by Councilman Aaron Watson.
Attorney David Andrew Cox told Creative Loafing that he'd heard mixed reviews about Watson's sole term as councilman, but that there's "a lot of dissatisfaction with the City Council as a whole."
Cox said his displeasure of how the Cheshire Bridge zoning debate was the impetus to decide he would definitely run.
Cox first moved to Buckhead at age 15 and attended various Atlanta public schools before graduating from Georgia State University with undergraduate and law degrees. He currently practices law with Pekor & Associates.
