Buckhead Business Association Announces Logo Design Contest

Group marks 60th anniversary with rebranding

The Buckhead Business Association is marking its 60th anniverary with a contest to choose a new logo and tagline.

The BBA's board is asking the public to submit design ideas, according to an announcement. The group's board will choose a new logo from the contest entries. All entries are due by 5 p.m.  March 31.

“The BBA continues to grow and adapt over the years,”  Lolita B. Jackson, president of the BBA, said in a statement. “We want our look to represent who we are today. And this contest is a unique and exciting way to celebrate a significant anniversary and introduce our organization to those who may not know about our members and activities in the community.”

The winner of the contest, as well as the winning logo and tag line, will be unveiled at the BBA’s A Taste of Buckhead Business Expo on May 23 at the Marriott Atlanta Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center. 

To enter the contest,  contact Allison Farmer, vice president of public relations, atafarmer@bluewaterbranding.com or Jenn Thomas, executive director, at jthomas@buckheadbusiness.org.  Those who wish to enter the contest must request an application to do so.  The application will include additional information regarding the contest expectations and a Buckhead Business Association overview.
