Buckhead churches will be filled for Christmas Eve and Christmas services. Here are some of the services.
At Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service begins at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Northside Drive Baptist will have its Christmas Eve family vespers at 4 p.m. and lessons, carols and communiton at 10:30 p.m.
Trinity Presbyterian Church offers four Christmas Eve services: at 4 p.m., worship for children and their families; at 6 p.m., family service of lessons and carols; at 9 p.m., festival service of lessons and carols; at 11 p.m. candlelight service.
Peachtree Presbyterian offers a range of Christmas Eve services, including a 10 a.m. young-family service with noted Atlanta actor Tom Key. Live nativity animals will be on the church lawn before and after the 2 p.m. family service.
Peachtree Road United Methodist Church's offers five Christmas Eve services, which can be viewed online.
Northside United Methodist will present six Christmas Eve services, beginning at 11 a.m. and ending with a service at 11 p.m.
The Catholic Cathedral of Christ the King will not give a Christmas Eve midnight Mass, but offers a selection of Chrismas Eve and Christmas Masses. Archbishop Wilton Gregory presides at the Mass at 10:45 p.m. Monday.
Services at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip begin at 1 p.m. Monday and has two services on Christmas– one at 10 a.m., with a Spanish service at noon.
