Buckhead Crime Blotter: Northside Parkway Chevron Armed Robbery


The following police reports were filed June 16-22 by Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department and submitted to Buckhead Patch. During this period, the zone filed 96 police reports. All information is presumed to be accurate. Buckhead Patch is providing some of the reports filed in this blotter.

Robbery-Commercial, Chevron at 3465 Northside Parkway

6/21/13 at 2:40-2:50 a.m.
Suspect asked for Black & Mild cigars and then pulled a handgun on the victim and demanded money. The suspect was wearing a skull cap, but was described as an African-American man with a goatee. No height, weight, skin tone or other description was provided.

Robbery-Pedestrian, 475 Buckhead Ave. NE
6/20/13 at 11:30 a.m.
A woman said an African-American man approached her as she was walking to the MARTA station and demanded all her money. She said she complied and gave the suspect her wallet, which contained $700 in cash and her ID. The suspect's weight, height, skin tone, hair or other characteristics were not described.

Larceny from Auto, Fellini's at 2809 Peachtree Road
6/19/13 at 10:16 p.m.
The victim returned to vehicle to find rear passenger window broken and laptop, iPad, two handbags and $1,000 in cash missing. No prints were uncovered and no surveillance video available.

Other Larceny, Benihana at 2143 Peachtree Road
6/19/13 at 9:50 p.m.
The suspect went into the victim's valet box and took a set of keys before running down Peachtree Road, where he met up with another man. The suspect was arrested at 2260 Peachtree Road. The other unknown suspect ran towards 40 Peachtree Valley Road and was last seen at 69 Brighton Road. The keys were not recovered.

Larceny from Auto, 2600 block of Pine Tree Road NE
6/18/13 at 11 p.m.
Unknown suspect entered the victim's car and stole at .45 caliber handgun and $100 from center console.

Larceny from Auto, 1600 block of Merton Road NE
During period of 6/11-19/13
Victim returned to vehicle and found the door open and that a purse with three iPads and three watches were stolen from the vehicle.
