Buckhead Crime Blotter: Wallet Stolen from Purse at Buckhead Church

The following police reports were filed June 23-29 by Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department and submitted to Buckhead Patch. During this period, the zone filed 100 police reports. All information is presumed to be accurate. Buckhead Patch is providing some of the reports filed in this blotter.

Aggravated Assault, DeFoors Ferry Apartments at 2788 DeFoors Ferry Road NW
6/22/13 at 7 p.m.
Victim said she was at the pool with her "play sister" when the suspect, identified as "Phatt" punched her in the face. The suspect then threatened to return to the complex to shoot the victim and her kids.

Larceny from Auto, 1160 Moores Mill Road NW
6/24/13 at 3:50 p.m.
The unknown suspect smashed the window on the victim's vehicle and stole her purse from under her seat.

Other Larceny, Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 4465 Northside Drive NW
6/25/13 2-3 p.m.
The suspect walked into the location and asked to use the restroom and then later, wandered the hallways. Later, a victim discovered wallet missing from her purse.

Robbery-Pedestrian, 2300 block of Adams Drive NW
6/24/13 at 12 p.m.
The victim parked his vehicle at the location. When he walked away, an African-American man who is not described in the given police summary, approached him with a pistol and demanded his car keys, wallet and cell phone. No arrests have been made at this time.

Other Larceny, Wal-Mart at 1801 Howell Mill Road NW
6/23/13 at 3 p.m.
A man was arrested for attempting to steal packages of T-shirts, which totaled $29.42.

Auto Theft, 400 block of Buckhead Avenue
6/25/13 at 10:30 p.m.
Victim parked a 2008 Range Rover at the location and returned to find the vehicle stolen. The owner still had the vehicle's keys in his possession. There are no known suspects at this time.
