Buckhead Natives Group to Hold Reunion Oct. 1

It began with the Buckhead Natives Facebook group page, a place where those who grew up in Buckhead could swap stories and reconnect with old friends.

Now, the group will have a reunion Saturday, Oct. 1 at a vintage Buckhead home on Valley Road. 

According to an e-mail from Jim R. Miller, one of the event organizers, the group plans to make the reunion an annual event. The event will offer "Chances to get together with old friends, gather new ones, share great memories, and relive the golden days of our youth," the e-mail said.

The weekend's festivities will also include golf and tennis from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Those interested can email their information to buckheadnatives@gmail.com. Participants are asked to include their school and class for name tags.
