Cheap Trick to Perform at Buckhead Theatre on Dec. 28

Concert to benefit World Wildlife Fund, Coke Arctic Home campaign

The classic rock group Cheap Trick will perform Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the to benefit the World Wildlife Fund and Coca-Cola’s Arctic Home holiday campaign.

The band is expected to play its greatest hits, inluding "I Want You to Want Me,” a Buckhead Theatre news relese said. Advance tickets are $46 reserved and $31 general admission. The doors will open at 7 p.m.

The Arctic Home holiday campaign raises awareness and funds for conservation efforts to create a safe haven for polar bears. To support “Arctic Home,” $15 of each ticket sold will be donated to WWF, up to $22,500. To help protect the polar bear's home even further, consumers can text the keyword "HOME" to 357357 to donate $1 to WWF.

Atlanta-based Coca-Cola is making an initial donation of $2 million to WWF and matching all consumer donations made with a package code by March 15, 2012, up to a total of $1 million, the announcement said.
