5K Race in Buckhead, Other Events to Mark MLK Day

Modified MARTA Schedule

MARTA announced that it will operate a modified schedule on Monday, with rail service running every 20 minutes on all lines throughout the day and bus routes on a Saturday schedule.
 
Some buses will be rerouted in the downtown area for the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday March and Rally and in Stone Mountain for the annual King Day Parade.  For the King march and rally downtown, routes 16, 55, 99 and 110 will be rerouted. Garbage, recycling service delayed for a day

City of Atlanta garbage and recycling pickup will be pushed forward by a day during the week because of the King holiday. Regular Monday service will be done on Tuesday, and so on.
