Record High Temperature Set Thursday

Are you already in a summertime mode?

Spring doesn't even arrive until Tuesday, but temperatures are already in the 80s.

The National Weather Service's high of 82 Thursday broke the March 15 record of 81, set in 1973. Highs in the 80s are expected to continue through the weekend and into next week. Although it'll be warm, some rain could fall on St. Patrick Day activities Saturday.

With dayliight saving time here, you have an extra hour of sunlight for afternoon fun, along with the unusually warm weather.The spring blooms appear at least a couple of weeks ahead of schedule.
