The Gift of Lights at Atlanta Motor Speedway is returning for its second year as Georgia’s largest holiday LED light show.
Now through Sunday, Jan. 6, the Speedway will once again be transformed into a magical winter wonderland.
After driving through the incredible light displays, guests can stop in the Atlanta Motor Speedway Gift Shop to get a FREE photo with Santa Claus, presented by FOOD DEPOT.
Each year the show is different, but always fun and captivating. Located in Hampton, Georgia, the Atlanta Motor Speedway is a short drive from
Atlanta and Macon, off of I-75. Only about 40 miles from Buckhead, about an hour's drive, the Gift of Lights at Atlanta Motor Speedway is an easy local family trip when the kids get out of school for winter break.
Admission is only $15 per car Monday-Thursday and $20 per car Friday-Sunday and on holidays. Visit your local Walgreen’s store – Corner Box Office for discounts on tickets. Discount coupons are also available at 27 metro-Atlanta Food Depot Locations.
The first 15,000 vehicles will receive gift bags with coupons and special savings offers from the Speedway's numerous sponsors.
During its inaugural year in 2011, more than 50,000 people from all over Atlanta enjoyed the light displays at one of the most famous sports facilities in the world.
With almost 2 million LED lights illuminating hundreds of festive holiday displays, participants will have the opportunity to see the AMS in a whole new light.
Traveling in and around the grandstands and through a brilliantly lit tunnel, riders will travel through a mile and a half of sparkling holiday splendor, and be able to experience areas of the speedway not accessible on race days. The festive atmosphere is enhanced by tuning in to the Speedway’s 90.3 FM radio signal to listen to favorite Christmas music, as well as messages from
their favorite NASCAR drivers.
