Valentine’s Day Party at Fado. There are many Valentine Day's events at bars and restaurants in Buckhead, but this one stands out. It costs $34.95 and includes food. The real fun starts at 10 p.m. Thursday.
Magic Monday. This monthly program for children 18 months to five years engages kids in activities that introduce them to history in creative ways. Starts at 10 a.m. Monday at the Atlanta History Center. $6.50.

A forum on women's colleges. Eleven admissions representatives from eight women’s college will participate in a forum on the women’s college experience. Starts at 6 p.m. Monday at Pace Academy, 966 W. Paces Ferry Road NW. Free.
Valentine Birdy Craft Class. Get ready for Valentine’s Day with this fun nature event for children ages 7 to 10 years old. The kids will also decorate Valentine’s cookies to take home. 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Blue Heron Nature Preserve. $9.

Sweetheart Dance. Kids and their parents are invited to this Valentine's event at Northside Drive Baptist Church Preschool at 3100 Northside Drive NW, Atlanta. 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Georgia Boy Choir Festival Concert. Starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church, 3180 Peachtree Road NE. $15.
