Watershed Set to Reopen in Buckhead

The well-known Southern food restaurant is preparing for a grand reopening in new Buckhead digs.

Watershed, the Southern restaurant owned by Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls, will reopen at its new Buckhead address on May 24.

The restaurant closed its Decatur location and a report confirmed that it will reopen in Buckhead. Its new address of 1820 Peachtree Road is reflected in its website, which now identifies as Watershed on Peachtree.

Among the new location's features: a large patio, new signage and a liquor license ready to go before opening day. Julia LeRoy will join the crew as a chef de cuisine alongside executive chef Joe Truex. She and Truex have some ideas up their sleeves for the restaurant's menu, but they're staying mum on the details.

Also set to return is Watershed's famous Fried Chicken Night, although it will now be on Wednesday nights instead of Tuesdays. The recipe will be "[the] same with a delicious pop."

Watershed is set to at 11 a.m.
