Atlanta History Center's Party with the Past

This is AHC's new free monthly event, designed to introduce residents to the history of Atlanta. The full name of the event is "Party With the Past: Free History, Cold Beer." That pretty much says it all. This free history series will take place at a different historic spot in the city each month.

When: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Smith Family Farm at the 130 West Paces Ferry Road NW

Center for the Arts Annual Student Art Show

Join North Atlanta High School community for The Center for the Arts Annual Student Art Show. for The Center for the Arts Annual Student Art Show.

When: 5-9 p.m.

Where: The Shepherd Center, 2020 Peachtree St. NW

Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for students

The 10th Annual Work of Our Hands Artists' Market

The market will benefit the art programs at Church of the Common Ground, Emmaus House, and Holy Comforter. 

When: Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Where: The Cathedral of St Philip Episcopal, 2744 Peachtree Rd NW, Atlanta, GA

Fernbank's Third Annual Winter Wonderland

Enjoy performances by Atlanta Ballet Buckhead Centre, special holiday trees and displays decorated by cultural partners, appearances by the Fernbank's Santa-saurus, and rides on the Santa-saurus Express train. This event runs from Nov. 16- Jan. 6.

When: Saturday, starting at 10:30 a.m.; Sunday, starting at 3 p.m.

Where: Fernbank Museum of Natural History, 767 Clifton Road NE

Cost: Winter Wonderland included in museum fee, which is about $20 for adults and about $17 for kids. Train and photo opportunities carry additional fees.

First Annual Mustachio Bashio

On this special night Fado is celebrating the moustache and its evolution to infamy! The Imperial, The Grunge, The Handlebar, The Cowboy...just to name a few. ‘Staches are required! We are even holding a contest for the best ‘stache! If you get it right, you’ve got a chance to win great prizes. If you lose, well, you are at a great party, drinking Guinness, listening to great music…with a crazy ‘stache on. Mo sistas, we will have staches for you at the door.
