"A Skylark Christmas" at Covenant Presbyterian Church

Buckhead’s Covenant Presbyterian Church will present the
first annual performance of “A Skylark Christmas” on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 8
p.m.  Members of the Skylark Vocal
Ensemble, a professional chamber choir of world-class vocalists and musicians
who specialize in small ensemble performances, will present readings from the
King James version of the Bible, along with Christmas carols that span six
centuries.  General admission tickets are
$30, and $20 for seniors.  Students and
music educators will be admitted free.
Tickets are available at the door, as well as online at http://www.skylarkensemble.org/tickets.html.  Free parking is available on the upper deck
of the Peachtree Battle Shopping Center,
next door to the church, located at 2461
Peachtree Road.

“I believe this candlelit program of sacred readings and
absolutely beautiful Christmas carols will become a hallmark of Atlanta’s holiday music
offerings,” said Jeffrey McIntyre, director of music ministries for Covenant
Presbyterian Church.  “We are delighted
to host the first performance of the program in our sanctuary.”
