Christmas Pageant and Angel Ceremony

The children of Northside Drive Baptist Church Preschool invite you to attend their annual Christmas Pageant on Friday, December 14, 2012, at 10:30 am, in the main sanctuary.  The children will retell the classic story of Mary and Joseph’s pilgrimage to Bethlehem, and delight the audience with several traditional Christmas carols.  The performance will include toddlers as angels, preschoolers as cows, lambs, camels, stars and Christmas trees, and pre-k children as shepherds and wise men.

This is not only a charming Christmas tradition, but it is also the school’s biggest charitable event of the year.  For over 10 years, NDBP has partnered with a local, economically disadvantaged daycare in the area to provide gifts for all their little “angels.” Items include hats, coats, scarves, clothing and toys, and are all provided by the staff, teachers, parents and families of school children at Northside Drive Baptist Preschool. This year the school is partnered with Mother Hubbard Daycare in Atlanta and over 100 children will receive Christmas gifts.  The children will also attend the pageant and receive their gifts at the end of the performance from Santa himself. This is a heartwarming even that is not to be missed.
