Golden Gala
Adopt a Golden Atlanta (AGA) is holding its fifth annual Golden Gala on Saturday, February 23, at 7 pm at Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery.
In addition to a silent auction with 200+ items, four food stations and AGA’s signature Goldentini, this year’s Golden Gala features an exclusive showing of the art of Debra Marlin, creator of Yellowdog, the Golden Retrievers of Martha’s Vineyard.
The Golden Gala is chaired by Justin and Allison Farmer. Presenting Sponsors are Cox Media Group, Manheim, WSB-TV and Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Culinary Chair is Tony Conway, A Legendary Event. The Golden Gala also features a Silent Auction and music by Centennial Jazz Trio.

The event is AGA’s major fundraiser for the year and helps help raise additional dollars for Adopt a Golden Atlanta's growing need for funds to support rescued golden retrievers. “In today's economy we are seeing a significant increase in the numbers of dogs becoming homeless,” said Lauren Genkinger, AGA founder. Adopt a Golden Atlanta is the second largest rescue organization in the U.S. dedicated solely to golden retrievers.
Gala tickets are $125 and are available through the AGA website, www.adoptagoldenatlanta.com. Tickets are available for advance purchase only; tickets are not sold at the door.
