Atlanta, GA - North Atlanta Parents of Public Schools (NAPPS) announces its next monthly meeting on Thursday, October 25th, 9-10:30 a.m. in the North Atlanta High School Lecture Hall. The focus of the meeting will be educating and preparing parents of 4th and 5th graders about Sutton Middle School (SMS).
The program will feature a comprehensive panel of SMS experts who will address questions on middle school curriculum, the International Baccalaureate program, enrollment statistics, test scores, art and music programs, sports, clubs, and all that makes Sutton unique. The event is open to all families in the North Atlanta cluster regardless of where they are currently enrolled in school.
The panel will include Principal Audrey Sofianos, SMS teachers and administrators, PTA leaders, and Sutton students. Attendees will learn about a typical day in the life of a Sutton middle school student and much more. The format of this meeting is a departure from regular monthly NAPPS meetings, which typically focus on cluster school business and happenings. “We want NAPPS meetings to offer value-added information that is relevant and helpful to anyone who lives in our northside cluster and cares about public school education. We aim to foster and promote positive community awareness and support for our North Atlanta cluster schools,” said NAPPS board president Reide Onley.
Coffee and breakfast items will be served courtesy of Office Depot, and you can RSVP at the following web link: http://paperless.ly/W7qu0F.
