Swans & Embers | Quiet Hounds

On October 4, 2013, Quiet Hounds will join the Swan House, Atlanta History Center and the Georgia Department of Economic Development to celebrate the rise of the city of Atlanta from ashes to it's present day glory. As itself a symbol of resurrection, the Swan House will serve as a backdrop for the next Quiet Hounds experience: a live performance in 3 movements.

'Swans & Embers' will be stylistically set to a roaring 20's theme to commemorate the period in which the Swan House was completed for Edward and Emily Inman; their previous home in Ansley Park had just burned to the ground. The audience will follow the story of a weary traveler lost and finding her way home to a house warming of friends and companions.

It will be a celebration of the historical significance of the Swan House and the city of Atlanta; a heuristic and modern way for people to experience the history of Georgia through artful, musical performance. Adding to what will be a festival atmosphere, 'Swans & Embers' will also feature Meghan Arias, Christ Lord, actors and ushers. There will be several food trucks serving great local fare, coffee and adult libations. Will the bands' signature flaming iron hound masks light the grounds? And where will the bands' bat-signal-esque, "Hound Signal" be seen this time?
