White Salon and Spa's Summer Styling Classes for Industry Insiders

Buckhead’s premier salon and day spa, White Salon and Spa, is opening its doors to all Atlanta-area beauty professionals and industry insiders who are ready for an adventure in styling! Led by celebrity stylist and owner Max Sanchez and stylists Wanda Barrett and Pike Lee, each two-hour session (10 a.m. - 12 p.m.) will feature valuable lessons in styling methods. In addition, all classes will feature four in-house hair models to show step-by-step hair and makeup application techniques. Although free to attend, White Salon and Spa requests that donations be made to the White Salon and Spa Susan G. Komen for the Cure team. • Monday, August 26 – “It’s Amazing What a Ponytail Can Do”

According to Sanchez, if you can do a ponytail, you can do anything. However, executing a proper ponytail entails more than simply whipping up hair in elastic! This class will touch on the proper method used to style the perfect ponytail, featuring easy updo looks that use the ponytail as the base.

• Monday, September 9 – “The Dos and Don’ts of ‘I Do’”

Creating a beautiful bridal look all stems from building looks from the perfect foundation. This updo-focused class will touch on modernizing older, stand-by bridal hair looks and bringing them into the 21st century with a few, quick modifications.

• Monday, September 23 – “Avant-garde and Editorial Looks”

White Salon and Spa’s summer class series will close with an all-out look at creating larger-than-life editorial styles, with the inclusion of hair pieces, hair accessories and more. For fans of Vogue-esque hair looks, this isn’t a class to be missed!
