Local Charity Represents Atlanta in National Competition

BCM will compete in Twive and Receive (www.TwiveAndReceive.org), a massive
one-day Twitter-based fundraising contest to support nonprofits in different
cities across the U.S. As the only charity representing The City of Atlanta, BCM
hopes to garner city-wide support and earn for Atlanta the unofficial title of
Most Generous City (#ATLcaresmost).

The fundraising competition runs for 24
hours on Thursday, June 14th beginning at 3:00 AM Eastern time. The
three charities that raise the most money will get a share of the $30,000 prize
money, in addition to the sum of all individual donations.

BCM is a local non-profit that helps families, primarily the
working poor, to meet their basic needs – food, clothing and shelter – during
times of crisis. BCM also provides money management and life-skills education
in order to prevent future financial problems for such families and help them achieve self-sufficiency.
