Contribute to Design of North Buckhead's Newest Park

Come out Tuesday and help create possible layouts for a new park on Mountain Way in North Buckhead.

The North Buckhead Civic Association's Park Pride group is inviting members of the North Buckhead community to speak out about the future Mountain Way Common, the greenspace around GA-400 overpass at Mountain Way.

Park Pride first initiated its Park Visioning program in 2005 and has produced 28 master plans for various projects, bringing together hundreds of neighbors.

The first of the four scheduled "visioning" public meetings was held on Feb. 12, and community members created a wish list of amenities and features they would like to see for the new park.

This month, North Buckhead community members are invited to participate in a Design Charette visioning meeting where they will break into small groups to create possible park layouts using items from the wish list.

All of the "visioning" meetings for the Mountain Way Park will be held at St. James Churc, 4400 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, on the following Tuesdays at 7 p.m.:
