Dr. Stanley Romanstein, president of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, will address the Buckhead Business Association over breakfast on Thursday, Sept. 27.
Labor talks between the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the musicians continued this week after weeks of negotiations.
A proposal was drafted on Monday and sent to the full orchestra for a vote on Tuesday, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. The results of the vote are expected Wednesday night.
The orchestra has been locked out since August, and Romanstein told the AJC that labor issues needed to be settled "on or around Sept. 25" in order for the season to begin on time on Oct. 4.
The Buckhead Business Association breakfast is set for 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at City Club of Buckhead, 3343 Peachtree Road - Suite 1850 (18th floor of the Atlanta Financial Center).
Breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m. and the meeting is called to order at 7:50 a.m.
The cost is $10 for members and $20 for non-members.
