2. Food Truck Palooza

When/Where: Sunday, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Sutton Middle School, 4360 Powers Ferry Rd. NW

Why Go: The food trucks come to Sutton.  The whole family will enjoy foods from other cultures, playing outdoor games, listening to music and meeting other Sutton families.

3. Walk to End Alzheimer's

When/Where: Saturday, 7 a.m. at Atlantic Station, 375 18th St. NW

Why Go: The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. Since 1989, the Walk has raised more than $250 million to help those battling Alzheimer's disease.

4. Buckhead's Native American History

When/Where: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Blue Heron Nature Preserve, 4055 Roswell Rd.

Why Go: Children will journey in the footsteps of Native Americans by participating in outdoor activities including a search for artifacts.

5. All About Orchids with Geni Smith

When/Where: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Habersham Gardens, 2067 Manchester St NE

Why Go: Geni Smith is President of the Atlanta Orchid Society and has been growing orchids for over 15 years. During this free workshop, she will share valuable knowledge including care, potting and repotting tips, suitable containers, favorite varieties and more. This workshop is designed to include all skill levels including beginning growers to afficianados.
