Vigil for Friendship

Dear Friends -
  The State of Georgia and City of Atlanta officials are acting like there's nothing they can do to stop the demolition of Historic Friendship Baptist Church, planned for later this month. Several have indicated they can't go up against a billionaire football franchise owner in cahoots with the mayor, who can do anything they want in this city - even if that means destroying a 150-year-old treasured black church that has shone the light of civil rights for generations past and should stay open to inspire generations to come.
     This willful abdication of power to do what's right and good for the people of Atlanta and the world is one of the most shameful things I've ever seen happen in our city.  
     Please check out our first Friendship Vigil video - and share it to go viral! Let everyone in the world know that this city's mayor, our governor, and a billionaire football franchise owner are conspiring to take down this historic irreplaceable church this month - and they should be shamed out of doing it!
