"Much Ado About Nothing" hits the Pace Academy stage April 24-26

Pace Academy’s Upper School theatre department will presen"Much Ado About Nothing" April 24-26 in the school’s Fine Arts Center.

One of William Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, "Much Ado About Nothing" is a play about love, friendship and deceit, and features three of Shakespeare's most popular characters – Beatrice, Benedick and Dogberry. The play incorporates clever verbal sparring and raucous physical comedy.

"'Much Ado About Nothing' has something for all tastes and will be enjoyed by the entire community," says Pace Academy Upper School Theatre Director George Mengert. "Don't miss this opportunity to see great Shakespeare!"

The play features a talented cast of 19 students, led by junior Rebecca Husk as Beatrice, senior Sam Downey as Benedick and junior Sam Nail as Dogberry.

Performances are open to the public and will take place April 24 at 7 p.m. and April 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. Seating will be general admission. Tickets are now on sale at the Castle Front Desk (404-262-1345). They may also be purchased at the Fine Arts Center Ticket Booth prior to performances. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.
