Atlanta Police and Fire to Hold 9/11 Anniversary Memorial Service

The Atlanta Police Department and Atlanta Fire Rescue Department will hold a special honorary service to recognize the 12th anniversary of the September 11th tragedy.

Atlanta Police Chief George N. Turner and Fire Chief Kelvin J. Cochran will provide remarks honoring the many Americans and public safety officials who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

The service will be held in the courtyard of the Atlanta Public Safety Headquarters at 226 Peachtree Street SW at 9:30 a.m.
