Buckhead Crime Blotter: License Plates Stolen from Vehicles; Students Report Computers Stolen from Lockers

The following police reports were filed April 14-20 by Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department and submitted to Buckhead Patch. During this period, the zone filed 100 police reports. All information is presumed to be accurate. Buckhead Patch is providing some of the reports filed in this blotter.

Larceny from Auto at Lenox Square parking lot/garage, 3393 Peachtree Road NE

License plate stolen from Kia Optima.

4/17/13 at 7:30 p.m.

License plate taken from a Chevy Impala.

Robbery-Commercial at Family Dollar, 2567 Bolton Road NW

4/16/13 at 8:40 p.m.

An employee said two men entered the business and walked up to his register, demanding money. The shorter of the two men had a black semi-automatic pistol and said, "Give me all your money, motherf---er." The suspects took about $900 in cash and forced him to the manager's office, where they took an additional $600 in cash. 

 

Other Larceny- 1019 Collier Road NW

4/16/13 at 3 p.m.

A U-Haul truck was stolen from the location. 

 

Other Larceny, Atlanta International School at 2890 North Fulton Drive NE

4/15/13 at 4 p.m.

Juvenile victims report that their computers were stolen from their lockers.

 

Other Larceny, EZ Market at 1545 Northside Drive NE

4/17/13 at 4:30 p.m.

A man asked to use the victim's phone and then took it. The phone was last tracked to 2222 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway. The suspect is described as an African-American man with a medium (not dark, but not light) complexion, a medium build, about 5'7" tall with short hair. He was wearing a white sleeveless shirt and red pants and had multiple tattoos on his body, including a cross.
