Shots fired on Peachtree Road; Louis Vuitton employee arrested for stealing $16,116.70 worth of merchandise; woman pepper sprayed by boyfriend.

Aggravated Assualt/ Shots Fired 08/01/12

A victim told police that just after 1 a.m. at 1819  Peachtree Road NE, a male suspect shot a pistol at him. Two other males on the scene stated they encountered a male matching the suspects description and he fired a shot in their direction. A shell casing was found at the scene.

Larceny from Business 07/29/12 - 07/31/12

An employee at Louis Vuitton was arrested for stealing $16,116.70 worth of merchandise from the store, which is located inside Lenox Square. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail.

Aggravated Assault 08/03/12

A victim told police that her boyfriend assaulted her in the evening at 4 East Dr. NE by hitting her about the head and face, slamming her head on the ground and then pepper spraying her. The boyfriend was arrested by police.

Robbery 07/31/12

At around 3:40 a.m. a suspect opened the victim's car door at the Exxon gas station, 635 Lindbergh Dr. NE, and choked her. The suspect then stole her purse and phone before running away.

Residential Burglary 07/28/12 - 07/30/12

A victim told police that he arrived on a construction site at 320 West Paces Ferry Road NE, where he works, and noticed that one of the houses there had signs of forced entry. An IMac computer, copper and mechanical tools were found to have been taken from the location. The cottage house had front door damage. One of the trailers on the scene had door damage as well, though, nothing was taken from it.

Larceny from Auto 08/03/12

An unknown suspect shattered the window of a vehicle parked at Trader Joe's, 3183 Peachtree Road NE, and stole several items from it around 9 p.m. Stolen items included clothing, four luggage bags a laptop and an I.D.

Aggravated Assault 08/01/12

Police were notified that a suspect used a belt to choke a victim. During the incident, which reportedly took place at 40 Peachtree Valley Road NE, the suspect also kicked the victim. 

Larceny from business 07/29/12

An employee at Saks Fifth Avenue, located inside Phipps Plaza, was arrested after concealing $1,290 of merchandise and attempting to pass all points of sale without making a purchase. The suspect was caught and detained by security until police arrived to make the arrest.
