Buckhead Crime Blotter: Man Tries to Steal Toothbrushes, Leaves Shoes, ID and Phone

Still more silverware thefts.

The following police reports were filed July 14-20 by Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department and submitted to Buckhead Patch. During this period, the zone filed 102 police reports. All information is presumed to be accurate. Buckhead Patch is providing some of the reports filed in this blotter.

Other Larceny, Publix at 2900 Peachtree Road NE
7/18/13 at 2-3 p.m.
A man concealed two electric toothbrushes in a black bag and left the store without paying. The suspect ran from an employee outside, came out of his shoes and dropped the black bag, which contained the toothbrushes, his ID and a cellphone.

Auto Theft, 1400 block of Northside Drive NW
7/15/13 at 2:15 p.m.
Three unidentified suspects were seen walking around the lower level of the business building. One of the suspects entered the building and went to the victim's desk and took her purse and laptop. The victim ran outside to the parking deck and saw one of the suspects in the vehicle. The suspect left the scene in the victim's car.

Larceny from Auto, Benihana at 2143 Peachtree Road NE
7/15/13 at 3 p.m.
The victim drove home before realizing her HP laptop, Gucci laptop bag and Verizon mobile hotspot were taken from her vehicle.

Residential Burglary, 4000 block of Emma Lane NE
7/16/13 at 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
There was forced entry into residence. Suspects broke through a rear glass door or window and stole silverware, two laptops and a 50-cent piece collection.

Auto Theft, Lenox Square at 3393 Peachtree Road NE
7/18/13 at noon
Unknown suspect stole the victim's keys from the table while he ate, then went to the parking deck and stole his 2001 grey Chevy Blazer.

Other Larceny, 2300 block of Peachtree Road NE
7/17/13 at 4:31 p.m.
An unidentified white male, no other description available, was seen taking money from the tip jar at the location and ran from the location.
