Atlanta police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a pair of men who held up a Buckhead convenience store at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.
According to the police narrative, the two men entered the QuikTrip located at 761 Sidney Marcus Boulevard at approximately 2:38 a.m. After browsing the candy section for a few minutes, the men left, only to return a short time later.
On their return visit, one of the suspects produced a silver handgun and demanded the cash register drawer from the clerk. He took the drawer, which contained about $80 in cash, and the two men were seen fleeing in a dark-colored Acura.
The man with the gun is described as a black, standing approximately 5-foot-8 and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, dark-colored pants and a red and black cap.
The other suspect is described as a black male, standing approximately 5-foot-9 and weighing 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light brown coat, white shirt, dark-colored pants and a dark cap.

Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
