Atlanta police say a Buckhead Steak ‘n Shake was victimized by an armed robbery early Thursday morning.

According to Sgt. Greg Lyon, employees stated that a male wearing a grey sweatshirt and black pants entered the restaurant, located at 3380 Northside Parkway near West Paces Ferry Road, around 4:50 a.m.

The victims emptied three cash drawers, which contained a total of approximately $400, into the bag, and the suspect walked out of the restaurant. Employees noted that the suspect's demeanor was extremely calm - at no point did the suspect raise his voice, make threats, or hurry to leave.

They stated that they believe a vehicle was waiting for him at the nearby the McDonald's because the suspect walked, not ran, southbound on Northside Pkwy. Units canvassed the area but were unable to locate the perpetrator.

The suspect was described as a black male with dark complexion, and a back mask covering the lower portion of his face. He stood approximately six feet tall.

The Steak ‘n Shake is located in the same area of businesses where a Chevron was robbed last month and a Wells Fargo was held up in late January.
