Buckhead Store Employee Charged With Stealing Credit Card Numbers

Planet Smoothie worker admits to using more than 130 numbers, APD says

The Atlanta Police Department's Major Fraud unit has arrested an employee of a Buckhead business for using customers' credit card numbers, APD spokesman Curtis Davenport said.

Dontazz Smith, 32, who worked at the Planet Smoothie at 2900 Peachtree Road in the Peach Shopping Center, "has admitted to stealing over 130 credit card numbers over the last year," Davenport said.

Smith was arrested on Fulton County Magistrate Court warrants for financial transaction card theft, Davenport said. "These charges stemmed from the use of credit card numbers of Planet Smoothie customers that Smith retained for his own use," Davenport said.
