Crime Blotter: Pedestrian Robbed at Gunpoint, Birthday Cake Thief Smears Paint on House

The following police reports were filed Sept. 8-14 by Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department and submitted to Buckhead Patch. During this period, the zone filed 110 police reports. All information is presumed to be accurate. Buckhead Patch is providing some of the reports filed in this blotter.

Residential Burglary, 3700 block of Tuxedo Drive
9/1/13 at 10 p.m.
Side door to garage was found open. Point was smeared on the side of the house and a small light fixture was broken. A sheet and a pillow were laid out on the floor in the back room in garage. A bowl of soup and birthday cake were taken from the refrigerator in the garage.

Auto Theft, Shell gas station at 1965 Northside Drive
9/8/13 at 12:15 a.m.
Victim stated that she went into the gas station and left her car running. She saw an unknown white male, no other description provided, junp into her car and drive off down Northside Drive.

Robbery-Pedestrian, 1943 Peachtree Road
9/11/13 at 2:30 a.m.
Victim reported that while walking to Piedmont Hospital, two men in a white pickup truck robbed him at gunpoint. The car was driven by a white man and an African-American man was in the passenger seat. The suspects stole the man's watch, wallet, $80, credit cards and his cell phone.

Robbery-Commercial, Belk at Phipps Plaza, 3500 Peachtree Road
9/8/13 at 2 p.m.
The suspect stole a Polo shirt from the location. When he was approached by loss prevention, he pulled out a screwdriver and attempted to attack them before running away from the location.
