Crime Blotter: 3 People Robbed at Gunpoint in One Week

Here is a roundup of some of the crimes happening in Buckhead's Zone 2 from Feb. 24 through March 4.

The following police reports were filed Feb. 24 to March 4 by Zone 2 of the Atlanta Police Department and submitted to Buckhead Patch. During this period, the zone filed 82 police reports. All information is presumed to be accurate. Buckhead Patch is providing some of the reports filed in this blotter.

Other Larceny at Publix, 1250 West Paces Ferry Road

2/26/13 at 2:55 a.m.

Two suspects ran out of the Publix carrying two grocery baskets of meat, worth approximately $150 before getting into a car and driving away.

Robbery-Pedestrian at The Galloway School, 215 West Wieuca Road NW

2/28/13 at 7:45 p.m.

Two young males attempted to take the victim's laptop from her while she was unlocking her vehicle in the school's parking lot.

 

Robbery-Pedestrian at 2255 Lenox Road NE

2/26/13 at 12:40 a.m.

Victim was robbed by four men. Several prescription pills and cash were stolen. The suspects drove away in a white vehicle. Two of the suspects were found in Gwinnett County. The two suspects were identified and arrested.

 

Robbery-Pedestrian at 2001 Peachtree Road

3/1/13 at 8:13 a.m.

A woman was walking through the parking lot when she heard footsteps running towards her. She said that when she turned around all she saw was a gun pointing at her head. The suspect told her to give him everything. She gave him her purse and he ran. The incident was caught on camera. 

 

Robbery-Pedestrian at SunTrust Bank at 1221 Chattahoochee Ave. NE

2/27/13 at 2:20 a.m.

Two males approached the victim while he was at the bank's ATM. The suspects pointed a black handgun at the victim. The suspects left the scene in a burgundy Dodge Charger after stealing $700 in cash, a wallet with two debit cards and one credit card and a white iPhone 4S. There are cameras at the location, but there were no witnesses.

 

Larceny from Auto at Stooges, 2020 Howell Mill Road NE

2/26/13 at 9 p.m.

An unknown suspect took the rear tire, wheel and lug nuts from a car. No fingerprints were obtained. There were no cameras or witnesses in the area.
