Crime Report: Suspects Tie Up, Rob Man Inside His Home

Two other victims also robbed on separate occasions by suspects in a white Dodge Charger.

While Atlanta Police Department Commander Maj. Van Hobbs recently a decline in pedestrian robberies in Zone 2, there are several worth noting that reportedly occurred in Buckhead between June 10 and June 16. One victim was reportedly bound and tied inside his own home while being robbed by two suspects. Two other victims were robbed on separate occasions by suspects driving a white Dodge Charger, reports state.

On June 15 two unknown males, at least one of whom was carrying a handgun, approached a victim at his home at 2657 Lenox Road NE just after 2 p.m. and made entry into the residence. The suspects then bound the victim's hands and legs and stole $2,000.00, a Glock 17 9-mm, and the key to the victim's BMW.

Police are also looking for three suspects driving a white Dodge Charger that approached a victim walking down the sidewalk on Parkland Drive NE and robbed him of his laptop, which also occurred on June 15. Just after midnight the driver, while still inside the Dodge Charger, pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the laptop. A second suspect exited the vehicle and took the device from the victim. The second suspect then got back into the vehicle, which proceeded to head north.

A day earlier around the same time, police also responded north on Piedmont Road NE in reference to another victim being robbed by a suspect in a white Dodge Charger. Reports state that a suspect, gun in hand, came out of the vehicle and robbed the victim of his backpack that contained a laptop, wallet and IPhone.
