Early Morning Armed Carjacking in Buckhead off Lenox Road

Reported crime took place about an hour before sunrise on Wednesday.

For the second straight Wednesday, Buckhead was the scene of another armed carjacking shortly before sunrise.

Last week’s incident took place in a Buckhead Loop parking lot and Wednesday’s reported crime took place not far away in the 900 block of Canterbury Road off Lenox Road.

As with last week, two male suspects were described to police following the incident that happened around 6:35 a.m. A man and woman were near their vehicle when two black men approached.

The first, described as standing about 5-foot-9 and wearing a black and red shirt, reportedly pointed a semi automatic handgun at the side of the male victim and stated, "Give me your [expletive] keys."

The other suspect, said to be about 5-foot-6 with an anfro and wearing skinny jeans, got into the 2011 Honda Civic and drove off. There were no injuries reported.
