"He was at his gym opening it up and he went inside to get the trash, when he came out to throw away the trash he noticed two males wearing ski masks dressed in all black pointing two semi-automatic guns at him and yelling at him to get on the ground."

The gym owner dropped to the ground and responded to the robber's demands for money and the keys to his car by telling them he didn't have any cash.

The police report states that once he said he did not have any money, one of the robbers fired two rounds at him, striking his right hand. The victim told police he then jumped up and "ran across the street towards McDonald's yelling to call 911."

Police officers found two .40 caliber casings on the ground.

The victim told police the vehicle was dark colored and said it "looked like a Nissan Maxima or an Altima."

WSB-TV, which interviewed the victim, reported that he described the car as "a dark Mazda with tinted windows, dark rims and a low profile."
