An older white man, no other description provided, flashed a light in front of the car of a woman who had just gotten onto the exit ramp. He told her he was out of gas, a tow truck was on the way and he had a wife and baby. The suspect said his name was Steve Thomas and that he worked for Black & Decker. He said he'd pay her back in the morning if she would lend him a hand. As the victim began to pull out a few one-dollar bills from her wallet, the suspect grabbed her hand and said he needed more than that. When the victim said that was all she had, he tightened his grip on her hand and demanded she give him all she had in her wallet. The victim gave the suspect $19. The suspect said he was sorry and drove off.

The victim honked her horn, drove around the car and "flipped" the suspect off. The suspect slowed down, then sped up, pointed a silver handgun at her and her female passenger and attempted to run them off the road. The victim got behind the suspect and took a picture of the Camaro. The suspect hit her brakes several times while the victim was behind her and exited 400 at the Lenox Road exit.
