Upscale Peachtree Road condo the latest hit

The series of Buckhead car break-ins continued Tuesday morning with five vehicles reported broken into at a condominium in the 3600 block of Peachtree Road.

Atlanta police spokesman Curtis Davenport said a caller repported that several male suspects wearing "wife beater" T-shirts and blue jeans were breaking the windows on the vehicles. The break-ins reportedly occurred before 6 a.m.

Davenport said  it was unclear whether any items were taken because no vehicle onwers were on the scene.

The incident was the latest in a series of car breaki-ns at Buckhead apartment and condo complexes, including gated communities. Police have advised residents to not leave valuable items such as laptop computers or GPS units in vehicles.
