OMG PD!: Weird News from the Buckhead Crime Blotter

All of these crimes come from reports from the Atlanta Police Department during the June 2-8 period.

Larceny from Auto, 1320 Ellsworth Industrial Blvd. NW
6/3/13 2:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
An unknown suspect pried the window opened on the victim's vehicle and stole his wallet and cell phone. When the victim called his cell phone, an unidentified woman answered. The victim asked her where she got the phone, and she said she purchased it from Wal-Mart.


Other Larceny, Kroger at 3330 Piedmont Road NE
6/6/13 12:45-1 p.m.
A woman entered the grocery store and then picked out $27.98 worth of chicken. She put the chicken and her purse and tried to walk out of the store. She was apprehended and taken to jail without incident.

A suspect stole a TV from the hotel room.


He Was Hungry
Residential Burglary, 480 Peachtree Hills Ave. NE
6/5/13 at 2 a.m.
A man was observed removing the window screen, unlocking the door and going into a victim's residence without permission. The suspect ate the victim's food without permission. The suspect was arrested for burglary. A witness captured video of the incident on her cell phone.

Loafer Thieves Still on the Loose
Other Larceny at Gucci, 3500 Peachtree Road
6/5/13 at 2 p.m.
Three men entered the store. Each one picked out a pair of loafers and put them in a bag they were carrying and ran out of the store.
