Police ID Burglary Suspect Who Led Foot Chase Wednesday

The suspect led police on a foot chase across Highway 400 and into a Buckhead hotel, where he stayed in an empty second-room floor for 30 minutes.

The burgalry suspect who led police on a foot chase that ended at a Buckhead hotel has been identified.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, police have identified the suspect as 20-year-old Ulyesse Cleckley and charged him with burglary, criminal attempt burglary, criminal damage to property, theft by receiving and obstruction. Cleckley could face additional charges as well, APD spokesman John Chafee told the AJC.

Cleckley led police on a foot chase across Georgia Highway 400 and into the Town Place Suites at 800 Sidney Marcus Blvd. in Buckhead. There, he ran into a second-floor hotel room before surrendering to police 30 minutes later. Police arrested Cleckley around noon on Wednesday.
