Police Searching for Suspect Who Robbed Buckhead Bank Wednesday

A man robbed a Buckhead bank on Wednesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, just before 2:30 p.m., a man robbed the Suntrust bank inside the Publix Supermarket at 2900 Peachtree Road.

A man, described as a dark-skinned African-American man with a beard, handed a note to the bank teller demanding money.

The teller complied and gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspect left.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Atlanta Police Commercial Robbery Unit at 404-546-4255 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.  Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.
