Prosecutors: 14-Year-Old Stabbed Grandmother Almost 60 Times

Therrell High School student went to school still covered in blood after allegedly stabbing his grandmother to death.

Prosecutors say a 14-year-old boy, who went to Therrell High School in southwest Atlanta last week still covered in blood after allegedly stabbing his grandmother more than 50 times, is going to be charged as an adult.

As WSB TV reports, teachers at the school originally thought Charles Price III had killed a fellow student after he told them he killed "it" and he liked it. But investigators later found 76-year-old  Mary Price, 76, stabbed to death inside her Fairburn Road home.

Massive amounts of blood and a pair of broken knives were found inside the house by police, who said the teen stabbed her 'nearly 57 times.'

Prosecutors said Thursday that Price may have gotten upset with his grandmother following an argument concerning the home’s television DVR.
