Rash of Burglaries Reported at Buckhead Apartment Complex

Police are looking for men caught on camera stealing items from the media center at the Allure at Brookwood Apartments on Peachtree Valley Road

Atlanta police are looking for men they believe are responsible for roughly ten burglaries in the Buckhead area.

The men were recently caught on camera stealing a television from an apartment and items from the media room at the Allure at Brookwood Apartments on Peachtree Valley Road.

Reported burglaries date back to July 2012 and as recently as Sept. 9. Items reported stolen include computers, iPads, televisions, jewelry, guns and other valuables, according to police reports.

"I came home and the door frame was split and the door the lock was broken smashed in," resident Russell Marks told Channel 2 Action News.

He said he apartment was broken into on July 25. Items stolen include three laptops, an iPad and clothing valued around $5,000.

Video surveillance from the apartment complex is available on the Channel 2 website.
