30 Car Break-ins Reported at Buckhead Apartment Complex

Police were called around 3:30 a.m. Thursday

Atlanta police are looking for more information about a string of car break-ins reported at a Buckhead apartment complex overnight on Wednesday.

According to police, a total of 30 cars were broken into at the Cambridge at Buckhead Apartments, 3432 Piedmont Rd.

Most of the car windows were smashed and portable GPS units and spare change was stolen.

Seventeen break-ins were reported in the parking garage and 13 were broken into on the surface parking lot, police said.

Police received a call about the break-ins around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.

There is video surveillance in the parking lots and police plan to use the video to attempt to identify those responsible for the crimes.
