The Crime Stoppers' inaugural Blue Jean Ball fund-raising event steps out with a strong group of corporate sponsors.
Walmart has signed on as the presenting sponsor, donating $25,000. At the Texas Ranger sponsor level, and Georgia Power have committed $5,000 each. Sheriff’s Deputy sponsors at the $2,500 level are , Cash America and LowCountry Barbecue, according to a news release.
“By pledging early, strong support, our sponsors are helping ensure the evening will accomplish its ultimate goal: Having a direct impact in taking criminals off the street,” says Charlie Crawford, president of Private Bank of Buckhead, who is serving as honorary chair, along with his wife, Ansley Byers Crawford. “And while our purpose for the organization and the evening is quite serious, we’re pleased that the event will be a relaxed good time.”
The ll, with music provided by Livin' Large, wll be from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Tullie Smith Farm at the with a VIP reception at 6:30 p.m. The event will benefit Crime Stoppers' crime prevention efforts.
