Suspects in Two Atlanta Murders Arrested

Two of the suspects were discovered in Alabama.

Three men have been arrested in connection with two separate murders which occurred in Atlanta in May and June.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, 35-year-old Maurice Nesbitt was arrested for the May 27 murder of Rashawn Jackson. Police say that Nesbitt shot Jackson in the head at her southwest Atlanta apartment complex as soon as she opened her door to answer a knock.

Two fugitives suspected of killing an 18-year-old after an argument in June were arrested in Montgomery, AL. 17-year-old Jeremy Johnson and 20-year-old Santon Smith are accused of killing Stephon Thomas on June 14.
