SWAT Team Arrests Man After Stabbing on Lindbergh Place
Atlanta Police says the stabbing suspect is now in custody.
The Atlanta Police department has confirmed that one man is in custody after a Saturday morning standoff in which the SWAT team was called to assist.
According to the AJC, "a domestic dispute led to a stabbing," early Saturday morning. Sgt. Gregory Lyon has said that the victim is in stable condition with a wound to the chest area.
The suspect tried to barricade himself in an apartment near the 400 block of Lindbergh Place. He was arrested after SWAT teams allegedly used cans of tear gas to force him out.
